Fans had to wait a full decade for former Sunny Day Real Estate frontman Jeremy Enigk to follow up his solo debut, 1996's Return of the Frog Queen. Consequently, it's hard to complain about the two-and-a-half-year gap between 2006's World Waits and Enigk's newest effort, OK Bear (2007 holdover The Missing Link offered four new tracks and five re-recordings from World Waits).

This album is very forgettable. His last was much better. I'll agree that Diary was boring. Did nothing for me. I don't get why all that 90s emo gets so romanticized. I could never get into Diary. That one song (Seven? I forget) was really cool, but the rest of that album left me cold. wasn't a fan of his solo stuff, but The Fire Theft was really cool I haven't heard this, but the review seems to describe my expectations exactly. |

Saw this guy open for Cursive once and he is easily the most boring artist I've heard in my life.
