Seven pummeling songs in seven minutes, ¡Apeshit! provide another quick batch of violent, screamy jawns with their new 7", Cavalier Activity.

Blink and you'll miss the absolute destructive chaos weaved by the band here. While all their lyrics seem rather vague ("Rob Roy" speaks in paranoid expressions about an "it," but never quite describes what "it" is), there's nothing subtle about their musical approach. Mixing Gravity Records-style discordance with a spazziness that's nonetheless measured in comparison to their earlier stuff, this seems a little more musical than what the band tend to offered in the past. "Pasta Rasta" has a poetically conversational tone and lots of more deliberate moments while retaining the absolute panic that resonates throughout Cavalier Activity.

Proving that even the most raw of screamy, spastic hardcore can progress, Cavalier Activity is an economical outpouring of sheer intensity.
