MansionsMansions: Thyme Travel [cassette]Thyme Travel [cassette] (2009)Cougar Child Tapes Reviewer Rating: 3.5 Contributed by: InaGreendaseBrian (others by this writer | submit your own) Mansions' prolific multitude of material continues with their (his) newest EP, Thyme Travel, a limited cassette release -- and with no digital download, mind you. These are four new original songs recorded by Mansions brainchild Christopher Browder while house-sitting a few months ago. In other word.

In other words, you probably won't get to hear 'em unless you buy this tape (if they're even still available). But is it worth it?

agree Blackjaw. The dude is a good songwriter and from what I have heard from him (not this) - i enjoy. One of the weaker acts in the Brand New circle of friends... I mean he's certainly talented, but for me the music lacks punch or something. I haven't heard this tape and probably never will, so the score is for New Best Friends. I did say it's weaker than other bands in this little area of music, but those bands tend to be amazing, so yeah the score is 4 stars. |
