If you had asked me a year ago what kind of scene Long Island had going for it, I would have laughed at you. There have been bands that have gotten popular, like Brand New and Taking Back Sunday; there are bands that have had cult followings, like Silent Majority and Latterman. However, the scene as a whole has always been relatively weak. Regardless, something is definitely happening now and it’s pretty exciting. Enter Dead Broke Rekerds and Iron Chic.

solid stuff, R.I.P Latterman, you will always be missed This is just amazing. Great ep... great dudes! NY is a rad place to be right now for music, although a part of me wishes I resided in philly. awesome band, awesome record. can't wait for the full-length. iron chic is one of the best bands right now I love this EP and im drunk , i meant demo* i like this better than the venue. shit/giggles is fucking incredible. The demo was better, but do you see me complaining? Nope. Good EP. These guys need to make a full length. A handfull of songs every two years is bummer. In my Top Ten list for EP's this year. The venues may be scarce and there might be a ton of really shitty bands, but i wouldn't say the Long Island scene sucks one bit. We have the kids who like the music, probably much more than most areas of the country. Small Arms Dealer was soooo much better. This is ok though. Looking forward to getting this, that demo was one of the best I've ever heard.
