Johnny Bonnel and Darius Koski are at it again, this time with Spike Slawson on bass. Their second album, MRBQ isn't a lot different from Our Fathers Sent Us, with a few exceptions, the first and most obvious is that the lineup has changed. Please login or register to post comments. such a great album, you can never say enough about a record like this. this gets such a low score when shit like Goldfinger gets a 10? One of the best band names...ever. good music, and with the exception of certain key songs the lyrics could have been better. The one where the lyrics are from some grandfathers poem about the buried schoolchildren is brutally poignant though. Fuck bitch...I'd love to see filthy thieving bastards play live. I always perfered the slow tempo acoustic tunes of the swingin' utters, and that's why this is such a great album to have. Punk or not, these guys are good musicians and songwriters no matter what. The melodies in this album are great. |
