2005 Plan-It-X outlook

Plan-it-X Records has posted their January update. Among the label's upcoming releases the following was announced:

• Plan-It-X Fest 1 DVD. - This will feature live songs by each band and more. This should be out by June 1st.
• Shotwell - Full length TBA
• Rosa - Full length CD titled I Mississippi You. This will be out as soon as the label gets artwork in.
• Spoonboy - Full length CD titled I love you, this is a robbery. Out by the summer.
• The Max Levine Ensemble - Full length CD out sometime in 2005.

Much of the label's update concerned the impending Plan-It-X Fest bus tour. Here's the latest from Chris:

sadly we have recently had to make some changes to the plan-it-x bus tour fest. things we didn't consider when we were planning was the fact that a school bus can not drive faster than 55mph and our bus will be fully loaded down. the drives were too long and we would end up spending almost all of our time driving and i think we would all go crazy. the worst part would be that we would have had to miss the day time events. i really want the fest to be a chance for the bands and the kids that come to the shows to hang out and do things together and build community. the way it was we would have just shown up in time to play most of the shows and we would all have to leave as soon as the show was over. the point is, i had to change the dates and cut out most of the west coast. i know this sucks but it's for the best. we have decided that if the east side of the country goes well we will do the whole thing again and just go west. please try to understand that we only have 4 weeks to do this and there are a lot of factors that figure into our decisions. i am very sorry to all of you west coasters. maybe we will see you in TX?

Tour info:

a big yellow school bus filled with some of the sweetest kids in the world will be pulling into the towns listed below and doing their best to bring the rock to you all. we hope to bring a lot more than that as well. we hope to bring hope and inspiration with us as well. we hope to build community and strengthen the DIY connections. we will arrive at 11:00-12:00 each day and hang out, make food, play games and more than likely sleeping in the bus.
