Gearhead signs Electric Eel Shock

Gearhead Records has signed Japan's Electric Eel Shock. From the label:

Go USA! is a very important release for us, not only has the European version (called Go Europe! 'natch) of this record received praise from everyone from the NME to Kerrang! It ACTUALLY LIVES UP TO THE HYPE! Yes, friends, the last time we got a hold of something this hot, it was five Swedish fellows in matching suits, and we all know how that ended up.

The band recently released a split 7" picture disc with Texas' the Riverboat Gamblers. The 14 track full length Go USA! was recorded at Wisseloord studios in Holland with Grammy nominated producer Attie Bauw (Judas Preist, The Scorpians).
Electric Eel Shock is headed out on a 6 weeks US tour in mid February. They'll share the stage with Guitar Wolf on a few dates and will appear at Gearhead's SXSW showcase. Click below for the details.
