Break-ups: Engine Down (1996-2005)
Confirming rumours, Engine Down has announced that they will be retiring. Vocalist Keeley Davis had this to say:
After a long and prosperous run as a band we have decided to leave Engine Down for the history books. With a good taste in the mouth we decide to enjoy our last tour with friends and family. The August tour will cover the more than familiar areas of the United States with the wonderful bands Bella Lea and Des Ark. Come and celebrate with us as we say our final goodbyes to all that have supported us through the years.
The Harrisonburg, Virgina based band formed in 1996 and released three records via Lovitt before signing to Lookout. It was on Lookout that they released their final record,
