Tsunami Bomb bassist to tour with Hoobastank; band to tour with Social Distortion this fall

To put an end to rumors circulating throughout the internet, Tsunami Bomb bassist Matt McKenzie has confirmed on the band's message board that the band are not breaking up, but he will be temporarily joining Hoobastank as their touring bassist while Tsunami Bomb is off the road writing LP3. Part of his statement:

No, Tsunami Bomb has not broken up. Yes, we are still working on our next album. Yes, we are taking a break to concentrate on writing. Yes, this is what most bands do after they have been on tour for about 6 months straight. and yes, during this break there is a chance that I might fill in for an upcoming Hoobastank tour. I should also note that I am doing this because this band has some very good friends of mine in it, I love touring and playing music, and - most importantly - I had the blessing of my bandmates in TB.
