New track from Most Precious Blood, a look at the controversial artwork

The first track has been posted from Merciless, the upcoming full length from Most Precious Blood. The record is
the followup to Our Lady of Annihilation and is
due out September 20th via Trustkill in North America and Roadrunner in Europe.

You can check out the song here: "Shark Ethic."

The band has also released the artwork for the album, which originally led to some controversy. According to their journal:

I don't know if anyone recalls the shit we went through with the Our Lady cover art but this time its even worse. Europe and Japan are refusing to release the album as is and have put the brakes on the entire operation.

Trustkill adds that "both U.S. distributor RED and European licensor, Roadrunner [are] ready to shelve the album" and Justin Brannan, guitarist of the band explains that "It's real life, it's someone our age that just dies and no one cares enough to notice."

Just prior to the release, the band will be headed to South Africa and are currently wrapping up a series of dates in the US. The band also just completed a tour with Evergreen Terrace.
