Patti Smith's "Horses" to be expanded and reissued in November

On November 8th Legacy Recordings will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Patti Smith's 1975 debut album Horses with an expanded edition. The release, dubbed Horses Horses features the original album on one disc along with a b-side cover of the Who's "My Generation." The second disc will feature a live performance of the entire album (and the cover) recorded on June 25th of this year at the Smith-curated Meltdown Festival. The performance, from London's Royal Festival Hall, features the Patti Smith Band with guest bassist Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Television guitarist Tom Verlaine.Smith and her band are currently on tour in Europe.
