Rise Against touring update, single plans

Rise Against has scheduled a few dates in the US after they complete the Taste of Chaos and European tours. The band has announced two shows in Chicago, and one in Edmonton, Canada. The band continues to write material for the upcoming follow up to their Geffen debut Siren Song of the Counterculture and will head into the studio in December for a projected Summer 2006 release.

The group also recently reissued their 2001 debut, The Unravelling and their single "Swing Life Away" has now spent twenty weeks on the Billboard Modern Rock singles chart. Another single from the album is also expected soon, with the band reportedly choosing between "Life Less Frightening" and "Anywhere But Here."
