Yellowcard releases video for "Lights and Sounds", Harper officially out, UK dates

The first video from Yellowcard's upcoming full length, Lights and Sounds has surfaced online.
The album is due out in January 24th, 2006.

The record is the follow up to the band's breakthrough 2003 Capitol Records debut, Ocean Avenue.

The band recently confirmed the generally accepted rumour that lead guitarist Ben Harper is no longer in the band. Harper had not performed with the band in some time and has been absent from the "silhouette" artwork currently adorning Yellowcardrock.com and other promotional material. According to a statement from the band, he was asked to leave due to "tension" from his "focus on developing his indie label, Takeover Records." Ryan Mendez, formerly of Staring Back who split earlier this year, has been filling in on guitar, and recently appeared the band's MTV "Making the Video".

The band is currently in the midst of a tour with Acceptance. After wrapping up that tour, the band will head to the UK for four headlining dates. You can click Read More for those.
