Unce, THRICE, Tree Times A Laydeee...

You remember when your friend started that band in high school and you
thought they made the best music you had ever heard. So, a few days ago you
listened to the tape, for old time's sake, and were like "whoa, what the
hell was I thinking?" Well, the friends of the guys in Thrice will not be a
part of the "those guys sucked" posse but, rather, will be a part of it's
much less common counterpart: the "I knew them when..." crew.
Thrice are the latest addition to the Sub City roster (Sub City is an
imprint of Hopeless Records which gives 5% of MSRP on each record to the
charity of the bands choosing.) Thrice's first
release with Sub City is "Identity Crisis," and benefits Crittenton
Services, a live-in care facility for at-risk youth in Orange County, CA.
The record is currently on the Most Added list in CMJ and Thrice are touring
to support it.
Last weekend Thrice played to sold-out crowds twice in Orange County and in
August they are going to headline a show at the House of Blues, Anaheim.
Look for them on the Nevada and California dates of this years Warped Tour
and on the nationwide Plea for Peace/Take Action tour. For more details on
this charitable, national event see www.takeactiontour.com; to find out more
about Thrice you can visit them at www.thrice.net. To buy their record
and/or download a free track from "Identity Crisis" go to
www.hopelessrecords.com.

BTW Thrice is great, and the subject is from old school SNL. Eddie Murphy doing "Buckwheats Greatest Hits" or something like that. I thought it was clever...
