Poison Idea featured in New York Times, plan new album in the wake of the loss of Pig Champion

The New York Times recently published an article lamenting the recent loss of Tom "Pig Champion" Roberts. Contained within is a posthumous look at Mr. Roberts' life and musical accomplishments, juxtaposed with the lack of coverage given to what is considered a highly influential band by the recent Grammy Awards.

Of note in the article is the final paragraph, which reveals plans for a new album from the Portland hardcore pioneers:

In the wake of Roberts's death, Jerry A. and the other surviving members have a chance to reflect, and maybe to reorganize. (Right now, the Poison Idea discography is a mess; "Kings of Punk," at the very least, deserves a deluxe reissue.) And the band recently finished recording another album. Jerry A. says Roberts wanted to call it "Latest Will and Testament."
