Tours: Gogol Bordello touring the UK with DJ Scratchy
New York's self-proclaimed "Gypsy Punks" Gogol Bordello are heading to the UK for a few days in the beginning of March in support of last year's Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike. SideOneDummy Europe have posted an e-card for the tour.
Joining them will be DJ Scratchy, also known as Barry Myers, who toured with the Clash between 1978 and 1980. Scratchy got his start in Dingwalls Dancehall in Camden Town, London. More recently he has toured with Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros, Jah Wobble, Jon Spencer's Blues Explosion and the Pogues. He released Scratchy Sounds in 2004 on Trojan Records and will be appearing at this year's Strummer Fest.
