Slayer titles album, releases tracks

Thrash metal pioneers Slayer have announced the title and some other details about their upcoming full length. The album is titled Christ Illusion and is the band's first new album since 2001. It is also the first new studio album since
1990's "Seasons In The Abyss" that features the entire original Slayer
lineup (drummer Lombardo left the band in 1992 and rejoined in 2003). The record is due out August 8th, 2006.

The band's German distributor has also leaked the artwork for the album which will likely be replaced for the US version of the record. The band ran into similar problems with their previously album which saw this controversial image replaced with a plain cover for domestic release.

Frontman Tom Araya had this to say about the record: "ANo one is going to be disappointed, it's going to blow everybody
away. It's fast, heavy, and maybe faster than anything we've done before.
