Hot Cross completes 'Risk Revival,' plans tour with Amanda Woodward

Hot Cross has completed work on Risk Revival, their debut for Equal Vision imprint Hope Division Records, to which they recently signed.

The band recorded the album, which is planned on being mastered this coming Friday, over the course of 9 days with producer and Anodyne member Mike Hill (Isis, Anodyne). It will span 11 songs and approximately 42 minutes according to front-man Billy Werner.

Risk Revival, due out October 3rd, follows up a number of releases by the band, including a split 7" with the Holy Shroud released last year, 2004's Fair Trades and Farewells EP, and the band's last proper full-length, 2003's Cryonics, all of which were released via Level Plane.

A fall U.S. tour with France's Amanda Woodward is currently in the works, but in the meantime the band has a few East Coast dates planned. You can click Read More for those.

Some demos the band recorded with Hill in September are still available on their MySpace page.
