Tours: Envy (USA)
Japanese experimental hardcore act Envy have
announced a two week tour in support of their upcoming full length, titled Insomniac Doze. The album was released on May 31st, 2006 in Japan, and is expected on August 22nd, 2006 in North America. A release date on Mogwai's Rock Action Records is expected in July.
The dates represent only the second time Envy has toured the
United States, and the first time they will tour west of Chicago. Sleeping People (members of Pinback) will be
supporting on all dates.
The album is the follow up to their critically lauded Level Plane full length, A Dead Sinking Story as well as the 2004 compilation, Compiled Fragments which collected material from 1997 to 2003.
