Jesu discusses 'Conquerer,' additional release info

Jesu's Justin Broadrick has posted information on his forthcoming full-length, Conquerer.

According to Broadrick's blog, the 8-song disc spans just over an hour long and will be released via Hydra Head in February 2007. He is planning a U.S. tour in support, to be followed shortly by tours of Japan and Europe. You can click Read More for the cover art.

Two additional releases are in the works, as well. A limited edition, 12" EP with 2 "experimental compositions" is planned for release on Aurora Borealis. The songs are titled "Sun Down" and "Sun Rise," with each track reportedly spanning 18 minutes in length. The release date is forthcoming.

The other release is a limited edition 12" split EP with Temporary Residence experimental ambient act Eluvium. Featuring 3 new songs from Jesu, 2000 copies will be issued by both Hydra Head and Temporary Residence, who are releasing it in conjunction. The release date is also forthcoming.

All of the above follows the outfit's recent EP, Silver, as well as last year's self-titled full-length, both of which were received with some critical acclaim.
