Hot Cross post recording update, short tour plans

Hot Cross have posted an update on the progress of their second attempt to record Risk Revival. The album was completed in June, but the band felt it wasn't an accurate representation of their hard work over the past year. The band is currently working and hope to release the album February 20th, 2007.
They had this to say:

Billy started his vocals for Risk Revival. Three songs have main vocals, with another two or three to be completed tonight. Everything is moving along really well and the record sounds AMAZING. Josh is doing an awesome job. When you guys hear this you will flip. Casey recorded some extra doo-dads and interludes, so it's looking like this album will have 13-14 songs and end up around the 40-45 minute mark. We are surprised too.

The band adds that frontman Billy Werner is now engaged. Our congratulations to Billy and his fiance.

The band is also hitting the road later this week for a few dates with Ampere (ex-Orchid) and Das Oath . You can click Read More for the dates.
