Aereogramme plan release for February

Scotland's Aereogramme have announced plans to release their next full length, My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go on February 6th, 2007. The album follows both their 2006 EP, Seclusion and their recent collaboration with Isis titled In the Fishbowl.

Produced by Aereogramme and Martin Doherty, the album was recorded in Glasgow at 4th
Street Studios. The album will be preceded in the UK by a 7"
single featuring the song "Barriers" and B-Side "Dissolve." There will be a video for "Barriers" by animator Hugo Cuellar.

The title is taken from William Peter Blatty's book, The Exorcist. The band explains the choice:

It's a really
beautiful line from the book which never made it into the screenplay surprisingly. It's from the first chapter as
Father Merrin decides to return to America and says farewell to his friend. It's simply loaded with foreboding,
resignation and hope - which seemed to resonate with our outlook going into this album, so it worked on a number of
different levels.
