Jack Marin is no longer Cute Is What We Aim For

Cute Is What We Aim For have parted ways with bassist Jack Marin. The band explained:

After a little over six months playing with Cute is What We Aim For, our bass player Jack Marin has decided to leave the band. We all wish Jack the best in his future projects. Our good friend Fred Cimato will be returning to fill in over the next few weeks, so please come out to a show and wish him the best.

Marin also posted an explanation:

A little over 6 months ago [...] I received a phone call asking me to play bass in Cute Is What We Aim For. I accepted the offer. [...] At first when I joined the band everything was great and everyone seemed happy. But shortly after, I started having some personal issues with another member. I've tried to just ignore the problems, but the truth is, I'm just not happy at all.

This is a decision that I've been debating for weeks. Even as I was getting ready to tell the guys, I was still wondering if I was making the right decision. But I've finally decided that it's in my best interest to leave this band as soon as possible. It's a matter of principle and to me, being in the band just isn't worth what I have to deal with.

The band is currently on the road with Circa Surive supporting their debut full length, The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch.
