Tours: The Hives to tour with Maroon 5... really

Now here's a show you and your mom can both enjoy. Throwing caution and sensical pairings to the wind, Fagersta, Sweden garage punks the Hives have announced a North American tour opening for adult contemporary soft rockers Maroon 5. Seriously. Click below for the dates.

The band is apparently still working on that follow up to 2004's Tyrannosaurus Hives. No release date or any other details are available yet, but as usual there's a constant flow of cryptic (mis)information from the group on it. For all the fun hit up HivesMusic.com.
