New York Times posts "The Future of the Music Industry" introspective

Freakonomics, a feature contained with the New York Times recently posted an article analyzing trends in the music industry. Obviously, the rise of the digital–age is a focal point, but the article asks five music industry specialists; including the president of the largest independent record label, a producer/A & R rep for a major record label, two university professors and a best–selling author on the topic, the question "what really happened to the music industry, and what will it look like in five or ten years?"
