Polar Bear Club signs to Bridge 9

Many, many of you wrote in with the news that Polar Bear Club have signed to Bridge 9 Records. The band made the following statement:

We couldn't be happier about signing to Bridge
Nine. We've been talking with labels for some time now, and as cliche
as it sounds, there isn't a better match out there for us. Polar Bear
Club has always been fans of Bridge Nine as a label and the bands
they've worked with. It's rare these days to be a part of a label
that doesn't feel the need to rest on its laurels and is not afraid to
push the envelope. We've been hard at work writing a new album for
the past couple weeks and we can't wait to share with the world what
Polar Bear Club and Bridge Nine have to offer.

The band's record from 2008, Sometimes Things Just Disappear, was named the seventh best album of 2008 by Punknews.org readers.
