Simple Plan commence writing next album

Simple Plan have, via Twitter announced that they are currently in the studio writing new material. They note:

In response to a lot of you, we are currently writing. Hopefully that won't be too long and we will hit the studio by the end of this year.

The band last released Simple Plan in 2008.
