Saosin leave major label, going "DIY route again"

In a recent Tweet, Saosin revealed that they have parted ways with EMI Group and Virgin Records specifically. The band released two albums via the label: 2009's In Search of Solid Ground and 2006's Saosin (LP). The band adds:

Yes, we parted ways with emi/virgin/capitol. Not a huge deal to us. Were very excited about taking a DIY route again.

The band's last DIY release was 2003's acclaimed Translating The Name which was recorded with then vocalist Anthony Green. Green went on to form Circa Survive and The Sound Of Animals Fighting. He also released music under his own name.
