Here's your question and answer of the week from the Punknews Formspring:

Q:

You guys run a site called punknews.org ...do any of you guys consider yourself "punk?? (Not a criticism by any means, just a question).

A:

Are we living in squats and sneering at cops from beneath our towering mohawks while trying to figure out if we can afford to finish our neck tattoo before the big protest next Saturday? No.

We're just music fans who happen to love punk rock, seeing bands live and doing what we can to help them out. We're all pretty far out of our teenage subcultural years at this point, and we've got boring stuff like houses, degrees and jobs. Whether that's punk or not is up to you.
