Jay Maas of Defeater
2010 was very literally the best year of my life. I Toured Europe,
lived in Australia for a month recording bands, played sxsw for the
first time, wrote and recorded what I think will be the best Defeater
record yet, AND to top it off asked a girl to marry me and she
actually even said yes!

This is just a quick list of the music that kept me company all year
long. Fond memories of walking the streets of Melbourne Australia
blasting The Felix Culpa, being in my studio with Make do and Mend for
weeks recording crazy leads and cello players with crazier names, and
long late drives on tour listening to Rocky V. 2011 has a lot to live
up to!

The Felix Culpa - Sever Your Roots
Rocky Votolato - True Devotion
Have Heart - Final Show Live DVD
The Get up Kids - Simple Science EP
Make Do and Mend - End Measured Mile
The Hold Steady - Heaven is Whenever
Alkaline Trio - This Addiction
Pianos Become the Teeth - Old Pride
The Stereo State - Caffeine, Beer and Quoting Movies
Delta Spirit - HIstory From Below
