The Dopamines taking suggestions for name change

Cincinnati, OH's The Dopamines has announced an initiative in which they'll be fielding suggestions for an inevitable name change that will reference some other type of drug. Bassist Jon Weiner exclusively told us about the plan:

"Our current name just doesn't spring off the page the way we want it, and as a result our music has been overlooked, perhaps most notably by the slackasses at Punknews.org. So we're trying to think of other drugs we can reference in our name that will hopefully spark a change in the way our band is noticed."

"So far, we've got a list of names we're considering--The Mescalines, The Methamphetamines, The Pseudophedrines. We're also considering The Methedrones, because it's so close to The Methadones and we assume fans of that band will come to our shows before leaving in confusion, but NOT before paying to get in. Cha ching."

The group, which under their soon-to-be-former moniker issued Expect The Worst in 2010, is encouraging our readers to leave their suggestions in the comments section or to submit them here.

EDIT: APRIL FOOLS!
