Morrissey: Norway massacre is "nothing" compared to actions of fast food chains

Morrissey has once again sparked controversy with his beliefs (and arguably flippant way of expressing them). At a show in Warsaw, Poland this past Wednesday, Moz launched into a diatribe before performing The Smiths' "Meat is Murder," stating that the recent massacre in Oslo, Norway was "nothing" compared to the daily actions of fast food chains. The Daily Mirror has the report:

"We all live in a murderous world, as the events in Norway have shown, with 97 dead. Though that is nothing compared to what happens in McDonald's and Kentucky Fried S*** every day."

A spokesperson for the singer issued this statement: "Morrissey has decided to not comment any further as he believes his statement speaks for itself."
