Tours: New Order (UK)

Post-punk and electronic music outfit New Order has announced some tour dates in the UK in April and May of this year. Controversially, the lineup will not include founding member and bass player Peter Hook but will include keyboard player Gillian Gilbert and bassist Tom Chapman from vocalist Bernard Sumner's recent project Bad Lieutenant.

Hook, for his part, has fired back against his former bandmates in court and is aiming to prevent them from performing under the name. The group formed in 1980 from the majority of Joy Division. They assumed the name New Order after the suicide of vocalist Ian Curtis and have existing in some form since then.
