The Early November begins recording

The Early November, who signed to Rise Records late last year, have hit the studio to begin work on their first new album since 2006's triple-CD The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path . The group went on hiatus shortly after that but reformed in June 2011.

They posted this via their Tweeting machine:

We're keeping our SXSW momentum going by starting to record the new record today! We'll all be updating regularly

The group also confirmed plans to perform at Raleighpalooza, a festival set for May 5th in Raleigh, NC.
