Sewing With Nancie Becomes The Reason

With Nancie have changed their name to The
Reason. Their old website states "When Sewing With Nancie began it was
way back in grade 9, 7 years ago. Ronson and I were 15 years old, and we needed
a quick name for a battle of the bands... As we grew and matured we started
hating the name." It also turns out they don't want to run into any legal
problems with the "Sewing With Nancy" television show.  With the
name change comes a change in sound, the band has dropped a number of their old
songs from their live show. The Reason
will be touring Canada in support of their new EP which was produced Greg Taylor
of Jersey and Brad Casarin of Somehow
