Erection of Danzig statue put on Austin organization's to-do list

On June 2, at a meeting of the Austin Music Commission, James Moody submitted a proposition for the organization to build a "golden" statue of Glenn Danzig riding a dragon with ruby eyes, to be placed at the main entrance of the Red River Musical District. Moody, who owns the Mohawk, a local venue, stated that he wasn't serious with suggestion. However, somehow, the suggestion made it into the meetings notes and "future goals." It is expected that the organization will be voting on the item at a later meeting.
