Billy Idol releases new single, announces new LP


Billy Idol has just announced a few updates on what he has been working on. First, via his Twitter, he posted a live cover of "California Sun," which was recorded at the recent Johnny Ramone memorial tribute. Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses and Ginger Fish of Rob Zombie's band are also on that track.

Idol has also announced a brand new album and a new single. The album us called Kings and Queens of the Underground and is due out October 21, 2014 on his own BFI Records label. He also released the album's first single, "Can't Break Me Down." Idol also has an autobiography due out October 7.
