Videos: The Replacements perform on 'The Tonight Show'
The Replacements returned to NBC with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The group was banned from NBC's Saturday Night Live in 1986 for performing drunk. Paul Westerberg did return for a performance on SNL in 1993. Of course no one can stay mad at The Replacements so they were invited to Jimmy Fallon's show to play "Alex Chilton" from 1987's
