Upcoming Rancid Release Date

Here's an unsatisfyingly brief tidbit of information: The new Rancid
record will be out on July 8th. Nothing more is known except that Mr. Brett
Gurewitz was once more at the helm. He also produced their untiled 2000 album
(which I appreciated)
and `94's "Let's Go". 

As for whatever happened to bassist Matt Freeman's psychobilly side project
Devil's Brigade? While their full length seems to be on hiatus, Machete
Mfg is advertising a limited edition 12" vinyl single on their website.
