Sonic Youth to release 1986 archival release, debut single

Sonic Youth have announced the release of some archival material. The band will release their 1986 Spinhead Sessions. The material was recorded while the band was working on the soundtrack to Ken Friendman's film Made in the U.S.A. The release is out June 17. The band also debuted "Theme with Noise".
