The Slits' guitarist "rewrites" history at "Punk 1976-78" exhibition

Pitchfork recently reported that The Slits' guitarist Viv Albertine spoke at the British Library's Punk 1976-78 exhibition. While there, and upset at the lack of women's representation in the exhibition overall, Albertine took it upon herself to "rewrite" history, making edits to the museum's overview of the exhibit to include The Slits, X-Ray Spex and Siouxsie & the Banshees as key players in the UK's punk beginnings. Albertine's edits can be seen in the picture above.
