Norrebro Bryghus collects urine from music festival to use in beer production

Denmark's Norrebro Bryghus brewery has plans to make a new type of beer. The brewery collected 50,000 liters of human urine from the latest Roskilde festival. That urine will be used to fertilize the barley fields which will serve as the base of the brewery's new type of Pilsner. The brew will be called "Pisner" and apparently has a unique taste. Denmark's Agriculture and Food council has approved the process. See a short video that describes the wee wee to beer process, below.
