Tours: The A.K.A.s 'One Night Only' Tour / Gallery

New York City's The A.K.A.s are puttiing
together a travelling art show for their upcoming tour. While on the road supporting
White Doves & Smoking Guns, the band will feature a gallary of
recent work by Shepard Fairey and
legendary culture-jammer Ron Englis.
The event has been dubbed "One Night Only" and will kick off on September
5th in Boston, MA. Prior to this tour the band is having a listening party /
reception in NYC at the Niagara Gallery.Vocalist Mike Ski (who previously fronted
Brother's Keeper) is quoted in the press release "With so many bands going
through the motions these days, it seems almost a cop out to just show up, play,
and go home.. we wanted to make the extra effort to do something both creative
and important with our chance to be in a different city every night."
