Celtic Frost, who broke up for good in 2008, released two parts of a three part epic song called "Requien," during their existence. Part 1, "Rex Irae," was released on 1987's Into the Pandemonium. Part 3, "Winter," was released on the 2006 reunion album Monotheist. However, part 2 was never release during the band's existence.Triptykon is the band that developed out of Celtic Frost and is headed by Celtic Frost frontman Tom Fischer. At Roadburn festival this year, Triptykon played the full "Requiem" suite, which included the previously unfinsihed part 2, "Grave Eternal.” Recently, Fischer revealed that the performance was recorded and will be released as a live album next year.
