THICK signs Motel Blonde

Chicago punk label THICK Records has signed Cleveland's Motel Blonde. Motel Blonde contains Ryan Foltz of the Dropkick Murphys on bass, Doug and Dave Mckean of the GC5 on guitar and drums, and good friend Russ Fink taking the vocal lead. THICK describes the band as "sticky sweet punk rock laced with power-pop, garage and soul influence (think: The Replacements, the Damned, The Jam, or even the Stones)." THICK will release the band's debut CD in April 2004.
