Tours: More details on Taste of Chaos tour

Some additional details about the Taste of Chaos tour from Warped Tour creator, Kevin Lyman. Since our original story, some dates and the official have been confirmed. Joining The Used will be My Chemical Romance, Killswitch Engage, Senses Fail and A Static Lullaby. On the East Coast, Underoath will join the tour and Saosin will take their spot on the West. The tour's second stage will feature Bleed The Dream, Opiate For The Masses and in each market a winner from a myspace.com promotion.

Worst tour of the upcoming year. Without a fucking doubt. Killswitch goes from playing to Slayer to playing with the Used. Horribly generic emocore and metalcore bands unite, in this day and age, what the fuck? All you emo fruits, go buy a $120 pair of girl jeans, slap on a white studded belt, practice a spinkick or two at home and come ready to this truly great punk tour. Fuckers. I swear, these faggot bands and their equally metrosexualized fans wouldn't have lasted 2 seconds during the days of Minor Threat and the Dead Kennedys.

Why don't they reverse the Atlanta and Miami dates. Common sense said it would be easier to drive from Atlanta to Norfolk, than it would be to start in Atlanta, drive about as far south in the continental United States you can, and then turn around and drive half way up the East Coast. I read the first senteses of this description and was totally stoked. Fucking warped tour and i dont have to wait till summer! kick ass! Then i read on....I am 15 and Warped to me is punk rock heaven. I have gone the past 3 years and loved it. I have seen many bands, favorites were mxpx, rancid, vandals, nofx, lars fredrickson, fuckin flogging molly!, scallywagon, antiflag, the casualties, and on and on. It truly doesnt get much more kickass than that, awesome pits, sore as hell, always falls on the fuckin hottest! day of summer, no voice left, deaf, and the biggest smile on my face for days. After reading this I was honeslty dissapointed. Sure its ok to have some emo shit on the tour cause its obviously becoming more popular, and that sells and Kevin the giant dousche wants money. But! why the hell cant he get some real punk rock bands on there. He better add some more or

to all of you complaining about the bands on this tour. Don't go see it. For one thing, the Used and Underoath are two of the best live bands I have seen in awhile. I have never seen Killswitch or My Chemical romance live, but I look forward to it. I do not know what you are looking for in a good tour, but I can honestly tell you slayer and anthrax won't be headlining a tour for you idiots any time soon. Sense Fail will entertain I am sure as well. Their new CD is one of the better releases in the past few months for sure. How many of you people dissing this tour remember the first warped tour...well let me remind you, it wasn't so great either. The bands playing are all awesome and they all deserve a little credit for doing this. This is the first one and it will get better with time. Not only that but everyone who has bashed this tour will probably end up going and if not that shut the hell up, no one asked for your opinion. If you don't like the bands that are playing, don't go.

I bet the lead singer in the band that I love will run up to me in the basement show and say, "Yea man, fuck that tour. Music isn't about music anymore, it's just a style." The typical 'punk rock' fan.. always whining about how this and that suck and so and so is good. In my opinion, 'punk rock' is washing up because every single on of the 'punk' bands sound exactly the same. MCR and The Used are very solid bands, so don't piss your JNCO pants. If you favorite bands became popular would you stop listening to them? Rancid used to be played on all the music stations, with Ruby-soho? Bad Religions got a bit of mainstream play with some singles. Like, they soooo suck for having the limelight. (enjoying me sounds like a 14 y/o girl?).
