Punkbands is reporting that Turbonegro will appear on a tribute to Norwegian cult-legend Jokke. The band will contribute their cover of "Her Kommer Wintern" (Here Comes The Winter) to the project. Jokke, aka Joachim Nielsen, died from an overdose a few years back and while still and unknown abroad maintains a cult following in Norway. The record has a planned release date of September 8th, 2005, which should have been his 41st birthday. You can view the track listing and more info at jokke.nu.

Also, Turbonegro's two DVD set The ResErection has been released and is available through the band's mailorder site. The first disc features a documentary about their reunion and additional footage from events like the Oslo-Bizarre Festival. Also included are out takes and "Paal Pot baking pizza at Pamparius Pizza Place!". The second disc features rare footage from 1987 to 2002, including 10 songs from 2002's Quart Festival.

Turbonegro is currently working on their new record, tentatively titled Babylon Forever.
