Last show for The Ghost

According to MP Productions's online calendar, The Ghost will be playing their last show at Chicago's Bottom Lounge on Friday, January 14th, 2005, at 6:00 P.M. Opening will be Mt. St. Helens, Pines, and Secretariat.

Chicago sucks. Any band named after an amazing thoroughbred is doomed to not live up to expectations.

Do bands stay together for more than two or three weeks anymore??? never even heard em' ,nor do I care to.

they've been around for at least a couple of years, perhaps they didn't get terribly popular outside of the midwest. no reason to hate, though.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to this show... and now to threadjack for a bit. I went to the first of the two blue meanies shows last night. I was worried that they wouldn't be up to par. 30 seconds into Send Help all worries were lifted and the blue meanies kicked ass for then next hour and a half.

sadly Brian Moss, the lead singer for the ghost, already has a solo project called hanalei and.............. IT SUCKS...............BADLY! Then again so does thier last album, compared to the first one. It was appauling to me as a long time fan of the ghost to see what has happened to them. In the last year their music and on stage intensity has really suffered, I think they did the right thing by quitting before it got worse. I was however at the last show and it was fucking awesome, so i my mind they did go out on a high note.

Well, if Mt. St. Helens is still together after numerous "breakups", maybe some of their not-breakingup magic can rub off on The Ghost at this show and they'll get back together sometime soon. If not, atleast this show will kick ass.
