Paulson signs to One Day Savior

Former Initial Records band, Paulson has signed to One Day Savior. The band posted this in an announcement on their website:

Just to make it official, we're now a part of the One Day Savior family. They'll be rereleasing our debut full length Variations on May 10th. So it will soon be back in print and available in stores everywhere.

We'll be entering the studio in May sometime to record a new full length, which will also be released on ODS. [...] We'll announce a track listing, producer, release date, and new mp3s as they become available.

Oh and also, we'll be playing The Bamboozle fest this year on Friday, April 29th along with Brand New, Thrice, Straylight Run, Outsmarting Simon, Finch, Blood Brothers, and a million other friends and family.

The label never issued a formal statement or anything, so I guess it'll never be "officially" dead, but from what I've heard about all the bands on the label looking for new deals, it seems effectively dead. It's hard to say anything for sure, and maybe the reason they haven't announced anything is because they're looking for a buyout or an investor or something. That is pure speculation, mind you.

Yeah heaven forbid that a band tries to do something a lil original sounding that deviates a bit from the norm. You fucks are a bunch of pretentious fucking idiots that know shit about music. Paulson is an amazing band and the nicest guys Ive ever met. They deserve everything they get.

I received $0.67 on a trade-in for this record...there's nothing amazing about it. That was nearly half a year ago and that album still sits in the $2.50 section. - Kirby

the sad truth is that every show is on the equalivent to ticketmaster, www.gigsandtours.com, but that aint a full listing, it's just a pointer first week of may? Deconstruction is in london 1:st may. check out www.punktastic.com, but filter through the emo-poppunk. mind you, that's a newssite just like this one, so do some searching. There's also punknews.co.uk, but that site is terrible. I hope that was some help. When i go to the uk, i actually just buy kerrang when i', there, it has a full gig list of the week, and actually more than half of it is good shit, if you just feel like taking a chance.
