Near Miss post album stream, new material

In anticipation of their upcoming Takeover debut, Near Miss has updated their purevolume.com site with the tracks from 2002's Gentle Art of Making Enemies as well as tracks from the June 28th split for the label which will also include the Matches and Reeve Oliver.

You can check out all the material as well as artwork from the upcoming split here.

This band fucking sucks. It's hard to believe that they're related to Bigwig. I can totally imagine them on Drive Thru Records. -Chinatown

They're really not related to Bigwig. At all. Jeremy and Max were lackees in the band for just a little while and they basically just did and played what they were told. They played songs off Unmerry Melodies and Stay Asleep, as if they were in a cover band, and were told how things were going to be on Invitation to Tragedy. They're fine and competent musicans in a that technical sense, but they're songwriting .... not good. And that is why Bigwig is great and Near Miss is relatively poor.

man, you must be like a 16 year douche, who really has no idea about music. If you are older than 16..... shame on you. Big Wig is 5 years ago. Its the past for them. They have there own sound now. Get over it.
